Cold outreach breaks when infrastructure breaks. A campaign can have strong targeting, clean copy, and good sequencing, but if the mailboxes are weak, the result is still spam placement, account churn, and stalled pipeline. The problem becomes more expensive at scale because every burned mailbox can mean lost warmup time, new DNS work, reconnecting sequencers, and replacing domains.

This comparison looks at Mailpool and Maildoso as infrastructure providers for teams that need outbound-ready mailboxes. The focus is practical: pricing, mailbox types, IP approach, recovery options, support, refund visibility, public reviews, and what each provider is best suited for.
Key Takeaways
  • Mailpool.ai offers SMTP, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365 mailboxes with dedicated servers.
  • Maildoso offers SMTP and Google Workspace mailboxes with IP protection and self-healing mailboxes.
  • Mailpool.ai pricing for SMTP started at $3 ($1.8 for Maildoso, with domains included) and for GW it starts at $4 ($2.7 for Maildoso, same official accounts).

Mailpool Review

The company was founded in February 2023 by Hugo Pochet.

Mailpool.ai describes itself as an email infrastructure platform designed for cold outreach campaigns. It enables users to create and manage email inboxes at scale across Mailpool's own network, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or dedicated servers.

The product appears built for teams that want a provider to handle mailbox provisioning, DNS authentication, delivery, support, and deliverability operations rather than assembling these pieces manually. Its public page lists automated DNS setup, optimized deliverability, and domain and IP blacklists monitoring.

The site highlights +300 integrations and API access for standard plans, with extended API access for dedicated infrastructure. Support is provided via live chat for standard plans and a dedicated CSM for dedicated infrastructure.

"I’d tread carefully here. Mailpool and similar bulk resellers usually do offer legitimate Google Workspace licenses, but they’re technically reselling under their own admin umbrella. That’s why you still see limited access, even if you’re given admin controls, your Workspace sits under their reseller domain. It works fine until Google changes reseller policies or revokes a partner account, and then you’re stuck migrating everything." – Mailpool reviews?

"Mailpool is utterly amazing. Was trying to set up an ai assisted cold outreach pipeline for my own automation agency. Utterly excellent UI/UX. Super responsive support (i think its just one mexican lady - but goddamn she knows her shit). I think its a small company but goddamn I love it. Quite literally the first review I've ever added for a service. But just felt like payinig back in some way." – Mailpool + Smartlead Review?

🟢 Automated setup. Mailpool.ai provides automated domain and inbox setup, including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configuration, which saves significant time for agencies and high-volume senders.
🟢 Multiple mailbox providers. The platform supports Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and custom SMTP, offering flexibility for teams that want to diversify their sending infrastructure.
🟢 Responsive support and good UI/UX. According to Reddit user feedback, the platform offers excellent UI/UX and super-responsive support.

Mailpool Cons

🔴 No explicit refund policy or free trial. The official website does not explicitly state a refund policy or offer a free trial, which may increase the perceived risk for new users.
🔴 No built-in warm-up engine. According to third-party reviews, the platform lacks a built-in warm-up engine, requiring users to rely on external tools for this crucial step.

Maildoso Review

Maildoso isn’t a complex management suite or a sequence builder – we know that real outreach needs a rock-solid foundation. We understand how the inbox works way better than those "all-in-one" platforms. From our self-healing mailbox rotation to automated email deliverability infrastructure checks, we do all the technical "dirty work" for you, so you can stop worrying about the tech and get back to closing deals.

We provide high-authority mailboxes designed to stay healthy for months, not weeks, allowing your outreach team to focus on the 1% of deals that matter rather than the 99% of tech that usually breaks. It’s a specialized environment for agencies looking for a reliable SMTP mailbox for agencies that have graduated from generalist tools.

"Tried it mainly because of the good price, but ended up sticking with it since deliverability’s been pretty stable so fa" – Thinking about trying "Maildoso". Has anyone here used it? Is it actually better than other tools?

"I tested a small batch first and results were comparable to our Google setup. Ended up moving more campaigns there because of the lower cost. That's a good strategy, buy small package and compare with your current setup – I want to try Maildoso. What do you guys think about it?)"
Maildoso Pros
🟢 Dynamic IP Rotation: We rotate your IP addresses in real-time – if an IP gets flagged or blacklisted, we instantly swap it for a clean one before your campaign takes a hit, ensuring your emails consistently land in the primary inbox rather than getting stuck in spam.
🟢 Self-Healing Rotation System: An automated resting period for mailboxes every two weeks that clears provider flags and recovers reputation on autopilot.
🟢 Global Customer Domain Tracking: Proprietary technology that allows you to safely include links without compromising your sender reputation.
🟢 Automated Inbox Placement Tests: Free email deliverability infrastructure testing every three days for all mailboxes, giving you real-time visibility into your health.
Maildoso Cons
🔴 Conservative Limits: We suggest sticking to 15 emails a day per box to keep your domains healthy for the long run. You are free to send more if you choose, but be aware that aggressive "blasting" is a fast track to burning your reputation.
🔴 Google/SMTP Focus: We do not support Microsoft 365/Outlook/Azure environments at this time.
🔴 Lack of built-in warmup. We do not have an integrated warm-up yet, but we are currently working on it.
We analyzed 10,000 outbound campaigns to create the ultimate guide on the most common mistakes – it solves up to 80% of all deliverability problems (according to our clients).

Final Thoughts

We have carefully reviewed Mailpool and are happy to recommend them for your cold outreach.

First, they offer a full range of mailbox types (SMTP, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365). They do not offer Azure tenants, but honestly, that’s for the best.
Second, they provide full API access on all plans.
Third, you have the option to purchase dedicated IPs and even a dedicated infrastructure upon request.

The only downside we noticed is the higher price point and the lack of volume discounts. For comparison:
  • Our SMTP boxes start at $1.80 (domains included), while Mailpool starts at $3.
  • Our Google Workspace accounts start at $2.70, whereas Mailpool’s start at $4.
